Welcome to the Texas Young Republican Federation.

The Texas Young Republican Goals:

GRASS ROOTS ACTIVISM - Organized as a volunteer service organization, our primary task is helping to elect Republican candidates.  During the last election cycles, TYRF members have logged tens of thousands  of campaign service hours. TYRF members have traveled across Texas and the United States to assist Republican candidates.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - Every year, the TYRF hosts retreats and or training seminars designed to provide leadership development to our members. Through interactive participation,teamwork and communication, TYRF members develop skills that benefit their personal and professional growth as well as that of our organization.

COMMUNITY SERVICE - Working together, TYRF members help a number of community and charitable organizations by lending our time, energy, and money. Members have participated in programs such as Boys & Girls Club of America, Make A Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, the SPCA, The Starfish Fondation, Special Olympics and Veterans of Foreign Wars. The TYRF began a Campaign For Literacy in 98 to help children in need across Texas. At the RPT Convention 2000 we collected 10,000 books that we are currently distributing to Texas children.

CLUB DEVELOPMENT - The TYRF spreads its message through the formation of new clubs throughout the state of Texas. By working with county party chairmen and other political activists, we are able to establish contacts that often turn into thriving clubs.

The Texas Young Republican Federation has four key responsibilities:
  • To advance the growth of the Republican party within Texas.
     
  • To provide for the exchange of information among local clubs, the Young Republican National Federation, and the Republican Party of Texas.
     
  • To provide a standard framework for successful club organization, financing, and communication for all chartered clubs.
     
  • To provide individual members with opportunities for leadership training and growth.
